Choices...
A trip to Baby Depot and Babies R Us today yielded some fun new nursery ideas...here are the options... can't decide, can't decide!
This one is my favorite... but of course, it's the priciest... I like how simple it is.
Starlight
I like that how bold the colors are in this set. Very VERY different from Ben's room and/or nursery.
Alphabet Soup
Adorable. Little froggies and ducks! But froggies are kinda Ben's thing... Sooo, might be out just based on that. But fits the color scheme I like!
Froggy Tales
Interesting. It's hard to see in the picture, but the colors are green, yellow, black and white. Also pretty pricey... probably my least favorite of any of them...
Honey Bee
Generic, gender-neutral safari animals. Fits my color scheme and budget... otherwise, eh...? (mostly because I feel like I've seen this one in several other nurseries, so it must be pretty popular)
Malawi
Any thoughts? Opinions? Walls will more than likely be painted yellow regardless of which one of these we go with....

I'm now torn just between Starlight and Alphabet Soup... I have to go look at both again. Starlight is almost double the price... so that will figure in. :\
My daughter-in-law ordered
Twinkle Twinkle by Pottery barn. I hope it's not discontinued.
8 weeks until my first grandchild!

Twinkle Twinkle was my favorite.... sadly, discontinued. Don't feel like tracking it down through the oulet/Ebay... been there done that with the Guess How Much I Love You stuff!
I love, love, love Starlight. It was definitely one my choices, if we were doing a pre-made theme for the nursery (I'm so picky and indecisive that I'm pretty sure I'll just be piecing things together.)
Starlight. Then the froggies. But definitely Starlight. Just face it - you have expensive taste!! :)
I'm voting for starlight too. It is very sophisticated, and simple, but also super sweet.
Go ahead and splurge on baby too!

Is it possible to just buy the bumper and dust ruffle in any of the designs and then buy plain cotton crib sheets to coordinate? I love all your choices, BTW (including the dear departed PBK stuff). Looking at baby linens is so much fun.
Elaine, I wish. Actually, I wish I could buy it all a la carte because our crib doesn't work with a dust ruffle. But alas, it's a package deal. With Ben I bought plain cotton sheets to match everything though since one is never enough. :)
That is a bummer! But I was just at PBK's site (ogling the nautical themed sets) and, if you're not disgusted with PBK now, Twinkle Twinkle is back.
Elaine, you are KIDDING me. EFF. I just went out and bought Starlight. GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWD how annoying.
Starlight is cute, but I wouldn't count on it staying so pristine white! (That is unless you're going to hang it on the wall?)
I love the top one. Something about it being simple but very elegant. It's fantastic. He/She would be so posh in it (is that bad?)
