Second Child Syndrome...

Me: Hey, Tom, I have an OB appointment on the 26th, do you want to come with me this time?

Tom: Uhhh... is anything interesting going to happen?

Me: Just the usual... she'll listen to the heartbeat, measure me... yada yada..

Tom: Do you care if I don't go?

Me: Not really?

Tom: Um, I'll pass..

Did Tom go to every appointment you had with Ben?? That's awesome. Alan started with the "I'll pass" after the first time we heard the heartbeat with Brandon. Sigh.

He came to quite a few of them... as many as he could swing with work and all... not as many toward the end because I started going every week sometime around week 30 (preeclampsia), so it got to be too much. This time? He didn't even come to the first one... then again, we had already been listening to the h/b for three weeks at home at that point. ;)
