Yet Another Reason I Am Ecstatic Not to Be Pregnant in the Summer...

Yeah, it's a beauty, isn't it? I just ordered it for our trip to Florida we're taking in a couple weeks.

I bought a maternity swimsuit from Old Navy before our LAST trip, but it was a tankini and didn't work out so well. Everytime I'd go into water deeper than 4 feet, the top would fly up and float all around me, revealing my lily white bloated pregnant belly. SO not cute.

Thankfully, by the time it is actually swimsuit season in Baltimore again, I should be (almsot) back into my normal clothes and thus, my normal swimsuit. Because seriously... do they just make this stuff as ugly as possible for fun?!

Notice how the model is pasty white. That's because she won't go outside in that suit.

Crap man...I wore that same suit when I was 32 weeks pregnant! I looked like one of the dancing hippos in Fantasia!!!!!!!!

Awwww, I was looking forward to my summer pregnancy! I loved my tankini from the last time I was prego in the summer, but now that I think back on it, I never actually went swimming with it on. I would just lounge around the beach and go in the water up to my knees, hence my ignorance on the floating up issue.
Maybe I need to look for a one piece for this summer or maybe I'll just sit poolside with my feet in the water.

Ok the tankinis cant be that bad, compared to that....haha I loved the one I had from old navy this summer..I never got in the water with it either, but it was great for walking around and wearing with shorts, I got alot of compliments on it..haha I did wear it in the bath tub and didnt notice it going up.. humm. Maybe it will fit more snuggly on your belly this time that it wouldnt float ..?
